As a 14E Series you will be trained to utilize the most cutting-edge technologies in the field using encrypted voice and data for both short- and long-range UHF and VHF analog and digital networks, Learn the theory of operation of the highly advanced Radar Set designed to search, track and receive all threats in the medium to high altitude band, As a 14T Series you will be trained on the Preparation for Movement and the Emplacement of the Patriot Launching Station, You will be a part of a certified crew trained to reload the Patriot interceptors used to eliminate a wide range of Tactical Ballistic Missiles in a wide range of theaters across the world. You will be trained from in the basic soldier skills and mentored throughout your career to be the future leaders in the specialized field of Air and Missile Defense.
Local Armed forces Branch Recruiters office initial visit
Your first experience with a uniformed military member will be your local recruiter where you will discuss the available military occupational specialty you are interested in, schedule your ASVAB job placement test, and discuss a timeline for you to ship out to basic training.
Military Entrance Processing Station
Your next experience with the armed forced will be at the military entrance processing station where you will perform a full battery of medical screenings to determine your current physical and medical status as well as begin the process of documentation for your records. You will take your ASVAB placement test and look over the initial contract prior to signing it.
Swearing in and Signing your Military contract of service
As discussed during your visit to MEPS, the second visit you will make will be for the purpose of signing the final approved military initial enlistment contract, swearing into the armed forces by verbal ceremony, and shipping out to basic training within the next day.
Shipping out to Basic Training
The day of your shipping out to basic has arrived and you will be loaded onto a bus and driven to the location where your branch conducts training. Initial day one of basic consists of a military regulation haircut, the purchase of essential items, the issue of your military gear, and your introduction to how training will be conducted included a basic orientation to the instillation and your living areas for up to the next 6 weeks.
Enrolling into your chosen Military Occupational Specialty’s Advanced Individual Training School
After completion of basic training, you will require further specialized training for your chosen military occupational specialty. Depending on the career you chose, your Advanced Individual Training could take anywhere from 3 weeks to a year. After your graduation from AIT you will be processed to receive orders to your duty station.
Receiving your first set of Permanent Change of Station Orders to your duty station and unit
Within a week of your AIT graduation, you will receive an official set of Permanent Change of Station Orders directing you to your first duty station, where you will be introduced to your current chain of command and begin the certification process in order for your team to be eligible to deploy world wide.
1ST Duty Station Field Training Table VIII Certification Exercises
As a necessary requirement to be a fully certified it will be the main objective of your Platoon Sergeant to ensure you are fully trained and ready for the scheduled battery table VIII certification day.
